Fish & Wildlife Advisory Commission
The Fish and Wildlife Advisory Commission advises the Board of Supervisors on any matters pertaining to fish and wildlife in the county, including the natural habitat, wildlife, and environment in general. The Commission also makes recommendations, consistent with the policies and regulations of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, to the Board of Supervisors concerning expenditures from the County Fish and Game Propagation Fund, such fund created by Fish and Game Code Sections 13003(b) and 13100, for the propagation and conservation of fish and wildlife in the county.
Commission Structure:
The Commission consists of ten County residents, with each Supervisor appointing 2 commissioners. Resource Planner Kristen Kittleson from the Environmental Health division of the Health Service Agency, serves as administrative secretary to the Commission.
